Checkerboard loach
Ambastaia sidthimunki
About me: Hello, I am a checkerboard loach. You can easily recognize me by my black and white checkerboard pattern and a golden spot behind the eye. I am a free-spawning loach, which is why breeding in the aquarium has not yet been possible. I like to swim in a group and eat a snail from time to time. You should pay special attention that the tank is not too small or I am kept with too little company. The swimming space, as well as hiding places should also not come too short! Please check my friends, because I must not be kept together with long-finned fish.
